Description

Tourmaline – chips

Tourmaline is a group of borosilicates of widely varying composition with Mohs hardness 7 to 7.5. It occurs in almost every colour; black tourmaline (schorl) is the most common.

Chips are small irregular splinters with a drill hole, used for loose, moving strands.

Care: clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. An ultrasonic bath is not necessary for natural stone.
