Description

Azurite – cylinder beads

Azurite is a deep blue basic copper carbonate, often veined with green malachite, from Morocco, Congo and Namibia. Mohs hardness 3.5 to 4; it is soft and sensitive to acids.

Cylinder beads give a clean graphic pattern and combine well with round beads. They are drilled for stringing.

Care: wipe dry or with a damp cloth only – do not soak, and avoid acidic or alcoholic cleaners.
