Description

Fluorite – cabochons (heart-shaped), 10 mm

Fluorite is calcium fluoride with Mohs hardness 4, softer than quartz. It occurs in almost every colour, often in violet, green and blue bands, and fluoresces under UV light.

Cabochons are flat on the back and domed on top, for bezel or glue-on settings.

Care: wipe dry or with a damp cloth only – do not soak, and avoid acidic or alcoholic cleaners.
