Description

Rutilated Quartz – rough chunks, 13–18 mm

Rutilated quartz is clear quartz threaded with fine rutile needles of titanium dioxide that formed before the quartz enclosed them. Mohs hardness 7.

Rough chunks are broken without a fixed shape, for stringing, mosaics or your own grinding projects.

Care: clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. An ultrasonic bath is not necessary for natural stone.
