Description

Green Aventurine – drops

Aventurine is quartz with fine mica or hematite inclusions that sparkle in the light, an effect called aventurescence. The green variety is coloured by fuchsite; Mohs hardness 7.

Drops work as earring pendants and charms; the tapered end lets light in from the side. Drilled.

Care: clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. An ultrasonic bath is not necessary for natural stone.
